It looks like things are getting off to a good start. The transmission support bracket is a nice detail missing from the original Tamiya. The armor world is watching with great interest.
This will be one to watch! Just finished one of the "Duel" books that covered the Pershing, Super P. vs. the Tiger 1 and 2 in the final days of the conflict. The Pilot 1 is very cool, love the added on Panther armor forming the "bat wings". Didn't know much about the Pershing tanks but I'm soon becoming a fan!
Cheers,
Eric.

German cars, German girls, German beer, German firearms, German Shepherds, German motorcycles... Not necessarily in that order though!
I was never a fan of the standard Pershing. But the Super Pershing is very very attractice because of its rough appearance. And it is not so difficult to build (I hope so ...)
I am glad to tell you, that I have relaunched this project with a brand new Tamiya Pershing kit.
The very first steps are weld seems and cast texture on the lower hull. The weld seems are made with grey Tamiya putty (Milliput was not working); the cast texture on the flange is also made with the grey putty. The holes in the flanges (for screws M1) are drilled with a 3D-printed stencil.
