I know my paint job sucks lol this is actually revision v3 so I eventually just accepted for what it is and did a little weathering.
But my set up is basically a BEIER SFR-1-HL with the 15w visaton speaker in a custom box. Nothing else really special, oh and I used a regular LED for the muzzle flash. If anyone has any advice pleas give. I have the turret figuring setting a little weird so the first time I fire I never really get sound but the second time I sometimes do. Unsure how to change in biere...

Nice! I just put one of those boards in my Panzer III. Still trying to sort out the driving characteristics that suit me best. Thanks for posting the video.

I still need to add my recoil and elevation servos. Should be pretty straight forward. I’ll have to rig a connecting wire for my cannon recoil but it’s all straight forward. There’s a setting for servo recoil with adjustments for recoil speed. Check out the manual for the Beier board. I should add that I bought the TIgen Panzer III used and I removed all electronics, motors and recoil parts so that I can my own fabricated stuff. I hate factory motors and recoil units etc.

Ok ill look through the settings and read around for this feature. Would you happen to know the page # in the manual?Jimster wrote:I still need to add my recoil and elevation servos. Re: My Mato tank build
Were you able to connect and configure properly Mato servo recoil and elevation on Beier? I'm struggling with on my Taigen with Mato turret

Re: My Mato tank build
So the recoil when firing i programed into the trigger in my radio that automatically returns when engaged, but for the sound FX when lifting the turret up and down.. negative. I figured out how to do it but the sound just didn't synch. The best way IMHO is to use and uncentered stick on your radio. Really hope beier fixes this. Its such a great system! I'm working on a MATO king tiger next and have been talking to DAK and mite just drop a CLARK TK80sp in it.... not sure yet.Kaczor wrote:Were you able to connect and configure properly Mato servo recoil and elevation on Beier? Hi, Kyoz84: The Olive Drab on your Sherman looks faded--a good effect! The stars are a tad crookedy (that's an official term, right?), but I still appreciate them. I'd try hand painting over the stars with some FS34087 from Vallejo, Tamiya, or Testors (and there are even more). That would create the effect of the crew's having covered the starts to avoid their being target bullseyes for German tankers or a Panzerschreck. Then I would go at it all with some of Jnewsome's "Magic Grime." The result could be a weathered Sherman even Bix might admire
, not to mention we mere mortals. Most of all, I am impressed that you got a Mato Sherman to run smoothly. My Mato M10 has been one problem after another, but I take it out now and then just to see if I can figure out improvements. Keep up the good work!

Haha yeah I printed a stencil and failed about 3x before just settling with these. I like the idea of painting over and covering with some grime though! I'll look into that.Herr Dr. Professor wrote:Hi, Kyoz84: The Olive Drab on your Sherman looks faded--a good effect! Due to living on an island my MATO tanks will definitely not see outside I assume they'd rust over and fall apart hahaha it runs good. But I struggled with the pins and ended up super gluing them in after hammering in so let's see how long that holds out. The berie setting for momentum are amazing and really bring to life the metal tank. I love it! Working on a MATO king tiger now and putting a Clark TK80ESP-KT board in. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint.
