Comet recoil

Comet recoil

Anyone know the amount of barrel recoil for a A34 Comet tank with a 77mm gun? Working on 1/10 Comet and would like to recoil as accurate as I can. Thanks. This forum is like finding treasure every time I look at it.

Sorry, I've done some searching and can find nothing on barrel recoil on the Comet and very little on any other cannon/gun. I can tell you that the recoil mechanisms I have for 16th scale are about an inch (25mm) max travel, can always be tuned down with servo adjustment.

Eric, Thanks for the tips, that is helpful. In a addition I have found a bit on the cannon movement on the 1/6 Comet by Amortek. Thanks again, Paul
