Gentlemen, I am sure there are two sides to this story, and I am NOT going to get involved or denigrate either side.
That being said, you have to understand MatsF side. He lives in Sweden. English is not his first language. It is very difficult to express yourself in a foreign language, especially the subtle nuances of a dispute. Couple that with the frustration of he and his friend sending money for product to a firm 7000 miles away in good faith and not receiving product, it is easy to understand the growing anger and the difficulty of expressing said anger in what would be considered polite English terms.

Look at it from MatsF side. It is probably beyond the time limit for any recourse from paypal or a credit card company. That leaves only legal action, although I do not know the time limit for paypal and credit card disputes, never having had a dispute with paypal or a card company. While the amount may be large to MatsF, to the US Court system it is quite small, going in the small claims court. OK. How is anyone from Sweden going to engage a lawyer and sue to get his money back in USA? The cost will far outweigh the return even if MatsF manages to pull it off, which is highly doubtful. Bottom line is, with out some kind of communication between Bill and MatsF, there will be no resolution, and the money is gone. We know Bill, and this will probably not happen, but I fully understand MatsF's fears that in the end his money is indeed gone.

Many of you, especially in USA, have no idea of the vitriol and distrust some Europeans have for Americans. Living where I do, I am fully aware of it and see it every day. Little things about our culture are difficult to understand and are seen in the wrong light. Americans are regarded as being rich, uncultured, and obnoxious. Huh. You want obnoxious, come to Sevastopol in tourist season and watch the visitors from former SSSR or EU. Quite charming to say the least. Therefore, I am in a unique position to see clearly both sides of this dispute.

I would advise all of us to calm down a little, and lets see if this can be resolved quickly and quietly. In Bill's defence, I can not fathom doing what he does with HL. Can you imagine getting a container load of tanks, and having to open each and every tank, test it, repair it, and religate a fair percentage to the scrap pile? Think of the time that takes! In MatsF's defence, he has paid good, hard earned money for product almost 3 months ago and has neither product nor a refund.

Again, gentlemen, let's all calm down and see if the problem can be resolved.

I have talked to Bill and know he is a honest vendor. Sh1t does happen when running your own business and i should know running militarymightuk. This week i have got behind with my orders etc because my partner has just been made redundant. So personal things have taked the fore this week. 16 august my friend: Hans receve the last mail from Bill and a gain Bills has wirit in mail he gonne send the tank and stuffs at Monday.

my brother have order from US many times and he has get his stuffs at lest 3-5 days, so i didn't under stand what you will say about the over 7000 miles way.
its so sorry he has told you a lie sevoblast, i have calld my friend right now, and he hasn't receve any mail or order number from Bill, and my friend told me he has send Bill 3 mails at this day: with NO ANSWER, that is so good sevoblast thats explain he lies for hes friends to.

Have not been shopping with rccommand so I do not have any preferences to judge, but as a human being and towards my personal tolerance level, this thread is way out of line.

MatsF, I do apologize for calling you "Hans" in the PM. When I skyped Bill this morning our time, he answered this morning his time, in other words 7 hours later, and in the conversation said he thought the customer was "Hans" from Sweden. I mistakenly assumed Hans was you.
Although on forum I said I would not get involved, I in fact did so to help you out. I also said in the PM to you to please keep that private. Not only did you not keep what I did for you private as I requested, you insulted me both in your PM and on publik forum.
Now, sonny, let me tell you a few things. I have lived in Europe for the last 3 years. Before that, I spent far more time based in Europe than USA, to wit, for  40 years. Ergo, I have a pretty good idea of European culture, economics, and politics, country by country, from Ireland to Russia,  and a real good idea of what Europeans think of Americans and American culture, good, bad, and indifferent.
In his conversation with me, Bill said he was  away on business for almost two weeks. He had expected your or your friends tank to be shipped Monday 17 August while he was gone. When he returned, he found the tank was not shipped. He told me it would be shipped today. Shipping from USA can occur any time up to 01 our time tomorrow morning, when Post closes in his time zone.
All that being said and made publik against my wishes, as far as I am concerned, you, sir, are a cad. You will never be allowed to do business with me, you can rest assured. In my seven years of business, you are one of the few to make the black list, you being number 3. The other two are well known scammers. I will also PM the monitor and have any PM's from you blocked. I wash my hands of you, kid. You are on your own.
