New member/ heng long t90 problems

Post by Papercarpet »

Hello all, I am new to r/c tanks and got my first one the heng long t-90.I've been checking out the forum for a while and decided I should get involved,so here I am. I’ve recently bought the shtora lights to modify on my tank but couldn’t get a clue on how and where to connect them for them to work.

Welcome along mate. Where on the planet are you ?
might make it easier to direct you to geographical assistance !
How you hook them up depends on what system its running.
A V6 or v7 ?

Welcome! I am not so familiar with HengLong electronics as with Taigen/Torro, but I do know that there are plenty here on RCTW who can handle your question with ease and there have been schematics here to cover many of the versions of HengLong modules. Bix is right: it will help to know if you have Version 6, Version 7 or Version 7.1 of the HengLong electronics in your T90. And the question about where you are (e.g.: UK, US, Africa, Australia, etc.) can help because folks here can direct you to reputable dealers should you need to buy more for your T90 or decide to buy, say, twenty more tanks. :haha:

I just got through installing my shtora (Red Eye) lights on my T90 with the TK-7.0 board. You will need to hook them up to the LED3 on the TK-7.0 or 7.1 board. That LED3 will be listed as your taillights on the instruction sheet. They will be activated on and off by holding down the "G" button and moving Control Stick 1 down. Look over the additional sheet that came with the Instruction Manual.
