Am I the first
Just to tease hooben m4 tank
Re: Am I the first
After seeing all the unboxing pics over at RCUniverse, I think this will be a very interesting build. Nice to see Hooben putting more effort into this tank than normal.

Do you plan to do a "build" thread on this one, rshermanking? It would be interesting to see how the Hooben kit works out.

Re: Am I the first
Nice to see this since I have been waiting for one to appear. Is this the "metal" or the real "ALL METAL" version? Would love to hear your first impressions of the kit.
After getting burned far too many times I have been sitting on the fence even though I was the one who was behind this kit seeing the light of day. Been lobbying Feng for years to develop a Mark IV. He plans to follow this with an A7V.

Re: Am I the first
the tank is made up of brass photo etch and ally plate with some resin and plastic parts, as for first impressions was good but looking through of the kit parts and trying some small build ups i came across some points which could have been done differently or using different parts. one point of question are the road wheels the way they would like you to build them are using to metal collets which are a reel push fit on to the point of damaging the collets. what i used was some 4mm id /5mm od brass tube cut to length which goes together with no issue and will let the road wheel rotate on the brass tube rather than on the side plates of the hull .![Image]()

Are you aware he offers this both as all metal & his classic "metal" kit which is mostly plastic with metal subframe.
