British desert Sherman.

Post by Model Builder 4 »

Afternoon all,

As I'm coming to the end of my desert Sherman build thought I would post a few pictures of it, it's a mix of mato, heng long and 3D printed bits including a very nice set of early style 5 spoke wheels designed and made by our very own WCP models :D The build itself is finished but it still needs to be weathered so a lot of wear and tear as it was in use in the desert. It's running on an ibu2u board, it has steel gearboxes and metal tracks modified to the T41 type, more pics to follow when it's finally weathered Image

Cheers,Lee.

Yay, Lee! I have the simple Andrew Haya version from some years ago. It’s not nearly so fine as yours, so I can all the more appreciate your fine work, and I do look forward to more photos. As always, you are a master modeler.
