WPL E1 Conversion

Post by sassgrunt »

When rummaging through eBay the other day, I ran across a conversion kit for transforming the WPL E1 into a tracked demolition vehicle. (Possibly the Borgward BV IV, but not completely certain that's what it was). And now, for the life of me, I can't seem to find it again. I think it was a 3D printed kit instead of resin parts. Has anyone seen this kit? Thank you. -Mike

I think Dave Taylor is the guy you are seeking - can't find his Ebay ID right now, perhaps if you ask Forgebear they might be able to put you in touch?

Thank you Will; I will PM you. I did get in touch with Dave from Forgebear and he sent me a link to Dave Taylor's Facebook account...which unfortunately, doesn't work for me since I don't do Facebook. Thank you both again! -Mike

Thank you both for your help. It is Dave Taylor who makes them, (a weapons carrier, a munitions schlepper, as well as the mine laying vehicle that I want), and although he doesn't have any for sale at the moment; he is gearing up to make more. I'll post a link on the board when they are available, for anyone else that might be interested. Thank you again.

Dave has listed two of his WPL E1 conversion kits for the Borgward IV. A mine laying vehicle (that I purchased this morning) and the munitions schlepper link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/125604119768?h ... Sw1Hxja5qW
