Thanks for the kind words fella's its much appreciated when it comes from people who are as knowledgable as you guys are. I'm still pretty raw with my spray gun, it was all brushed on 2" thick last time I modelled. Still having problems with the "less is more" ethos, once I start adding paint chips and rust I don't know when to bloody well stop!

Ice, yeah I used the panzertracts 16 book, although it didn't have as much on this project as I would have liked ( had more on the P IV and Panther recovery versions. Didn't know they did a recovery Hetzer either!!) it gave me the basic outline to work with. There doesn't seem to be many photos on the Panzer III version when you google it. If you're struggling for parts, I got a fair bit of my stuff for the crane (jib hinges etc) from www.cornwallmodelboats.co.uk of all places.

Wibbly, the gas bottles came from Tankzone. The stowage on the back came from an American company but they've been in the spares box that long waiting for a project I forgot which site it was.

nice one abo ...

when i did mine i thought long and hard ( yes right about 30 seconds ) about building the earth anchor .. but i just could not be bothered to sit there and solder all that bras together ..

if you looking for had tools .. then raid a dolls house shop ... thay usual do nice small packes with things like screw drivers plyers . claw hammers and spaners all in pre painted white ? metals .. nice sets for £2..
A tidy desk

Yeah, know what you mean, the anchor would have been a nice build but bloody complicated and I think I have only seen two very poor photo's of it, never mind.

Thanks for the heads up on the dolls house tools, I have a Hobbycraft at my local garden center, they do dolls house stuff, worth a punt and probably cheaper than Tankzone.
