Does anyone know if this program could be seen via the internet here in the colonies?

Any of you know what is going on with the shooting of "El-Alamein" by David Ayer? News and pictures from the set appeared two years ago and there has been silence ever since.

A quick Google search in Orstralia shows there may be a few ways:
  • Use a VPN to enable BBC iPlayer
  • Pay for Britbox subscription
  • Hope that it is on another pay TV British repeater channel
  • Wait for it to come on free-to-view British repeaters such as ABC (not your ABC) or SBS
  • Install the Beebs extension for Google Chrome
Hopefully (doth butter no parsnips) one of these will work for you.

And another trailer. Cast looks promising, although the theme music hints at historical liberties in much the same way as Souixsie and the Banshees appeared in Marie Antoinette.

I have no idea what this series will show but I fear it will be death and glory forgetting that the cream of the British Commonwealth will have failed to have beat the clock.
I am sorry to put a dampener on this programme but war is an evil and incredibly personal thing and as far as I am concerned it is not in the least bit entertaining mind you I don't watch Eastenders either.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Thanks for the help Estnische. I think I need to convince some friend with access to online TV to get Britbox. Hmm…

I understand SBS have picked up the rights in Australia. I'm not sure about the rest of the world.

Good pick-up B Man.

That led me to this nugget - "The show has been picked up by pay TV broadcaster Canal+ in France, o Epix in the US, HBO Max in Europe, Prime Video in Canada."
