is there any advantage to use a 3s lipo over a 2s lipo on a V7 rx

Good evening, voltage difference, 2 S = 7.2 volts, 3 S = 11.10 volts!!! it is better to privilege the capacity (Ah) than the voltage, personal opinion :)

Firstly check you electronics because 11.1V will fry it. V7 you mean Heng Long 7.0?

V6.1 and 7.1 will take a 3s pack.

3s provides higher voltage which gives higher top speed and more power. It also allows you to run slower gearing but with the same speed as 2s
