Mk 4 WW1 rc tank 1/35 scale

Post by BMG50 »

A while back before Tamiya or Takom made their WW1 kits, i built a 1/35 scale rc Mk4 from a Emhar kit using a mini tank remote control rc unit robbed from another tank and i made my own rubber tracks for it making rubber moulds which i still have worked very well. Now i would like to do some changes and use the track links from the Tamiya or Takom kits and use the drive wheels to match the new track system and get the old tank back working with a new battery change, shame the whole set up was not in 1/16 scale, one day someone will produce one, they did with the FT 17. Do any of you know if i can get the separate parts i need without buying a complete new kit.

It's showing for sale now and not a pre-order, but who wants to be the first Hooben Mark IV guinea pig?
