Your change makes for a compact operating recoil barrel, fitting in the turret well. And the recoil is convincingly fast, looking realistic.

The main idea is not to use servo. this allows the henglong 6.0/7.0 boards to work

I am impressed by your work with the recoil. Can you explain how you did it? I am a beginner with electronics but I like the way your barrel recoils. I had considered upgrading to 7.1 for the servo recoil function but I am looking for a cheaper alternative using what I have on hand already.

Thank you in advance great work.

Looking awesome mate !

Is that a solenoid for the recoil ?

What about the lifting unit ? You said no servo but it does look like a servo, however speed is very low (and it looks great), I used a modified servo to be used with a TK 7.0 on my Churchill for the lifting but it's super fast, way too fast to be realist, I have to be super easy on the stick to look accurate.
