G’day folks, have been gifted a new T90 for Fathers day(in advance!) and as a pep-up after the passing of our little dog just a few weeks short of 15 years
Got to love the family for being so thoughtful, it’s really humbling.
It passed the unboxing test run perfectly, but being the petulant child I am, I just had to look inside it.
On close inspection the idler mount in one side appeared to be cracked/cracking.
There is not a lot of material around it.
Do any of you have an insight as to what’s out there to replace or strengthen this inevitable failure point ?
Is your tank a later 6.0 or 7.0? I ask because supposedly the idler bracket was strengthened in the later models.
Does your instruction booklet have these images towards the last couple pages?
Don't get your panties in a bunch , we still got hand weapons and the fifty!
Three options...Henntec (probably best option at the moment), RCTank Legion (sold out right now), and Heng Long metal chassis (Expensive).
I've used all three. I have the RC Tank Legion one on my Type-98 and Trumpeter T-72 build on HL lower, the Henntec on my Hooben ZTZ-99A, and the Heng Long metal chassis on my HL T-72 build.
