1/12th Scale Stug...

Post by Spinnetti »

Well, with the Hetzer Pretty well done (except cammo and a few acessories), I've decided to start the next one, the Stug III. Not in a huge hurry, but will peck away at it. As usual, I start with a known dimension - the tires, and scale everything off that. As usual, with every part I make, I go back and tweak/refine what's gone before, so this is a first draft of the road wheel assembly. No doubt it will get plenty of tweaks before I'm done.

Ha! Well, you can break it up in however many pieces are needed to fit. I use a PRUSA for most stuff, a Mars and/or Saturn for the higher detail stuff, and a Chiron for the hull and superstructure, which for the Hetzer prints in a single piece (16" or so bed)

Oh yes! I'm definitely going to follow this one. Looking forward to see your designs and thoughts on this tank.
