I'm musing about using an old RX 18, cos i have one, in a twin screw boat build.
I figured it might give a tighter turning circle for one thing. Alas I cannot seem to find any spec on the current output...
I was wondering if anyone knew?
Cheers all

Re: RX 18 MFU Current Spec
This may help.
Although it's about the Heng Long 6.0, I don't think the motors have changed, nor their amperage requirements.
If it's not that helpful, at least it's a start for your quest.

Re: RX 18 MFU Current Spec
All U need to do is:
Open the casing. Read the symbol on case of the MOSFET's powering the motors (there should be eight of them, four on each side of the pcb), and check with the datasheet where you'll find the maximum current and temperature. It's yeasy ...
