Hobby Engine Tanks 1/16 Scale

Are these new?Or am I just behind the times.Tankzone has these for 109.ooUS.Does anyone have any feedback on these tanks I sure like the desert version of the Abrams,and they shoot some kind of bullet type ammo? Here are some pictures thanks to TANKZONE.COM Sax

Hi Sax I have the VS version of the leopard very detailed so the 1/16 should be very similar

They are not quite what they appear in the pics, very noisy, not very rugged, and very plasticky. They can however be made into very good scale models with some work. Have a search on RCU and here as I seem to recall that someone converted a few of them very nicely.

Mackem has done a lot with them, you should have a search thru the archives for his work

Thanks for the information guy's,I really prefer the German ww2 Tanks but thought maybe the Abrams would be a good modern tank to have,I'll check out the achieve posts and see what Mackem posted,cheers Sax
