Chris, that looks great,I still struggle with the air brush but that camo looks fine, you could do some of the techniques in the painting and weathering board to detail your tank, and you can use the airbrush on the polish or varnish stage.

Raven, to hand paint the camo green markings with Tam acrylic is pretty good. I have read that a lot of people have had a problem using Tam acrylics this way. whats your technique ? did you thin the paint, or use it straight from the jar ? Very well done.

When I brush with Tamiya acrylic I find it runny and I have to go over it 3-4 times

It dries quick OK but the dam stuff still manages to run in the cracks as you say it has to be done 2-3-4 before you can be happy with it

I have read that you can get retarder to add to acrylic paint to delay the drying time, although I have yet to try it myself. It might brush paint easier if you thin the paint, thats something you will have to experiment with.  The fire extinguisher would be painted over with the camo pattern. Check out the other forum members tanks on the various boards. With regards to what unit, research the jp that you copied the scheme off.

Cheers
