No matter what camouflage scheme or how many upgrades over the years, I suggest that somewhere, perhaps visible through an opening hatch, there be a small sign that says, "with love, Dad." She will likely cherish that tank all her life.

That's in the plan...Herr Dr. Professor wrote:No matter what camouflage scheme or how many upgrades over the years, I suggest that somewhere, perhaps visible through an opening hatch, there be a small sign that says, "with love, Dad." She will likely cherish that tank all her life.

Got to be pink! What other colour would a 7yr old little girl want?? Search the Web for decal sets. Peppa Pig is still cool for up to 10yr olds.
My 2yr old daughter asked for 'one of those' while watching her Sooty video. It was a RC buggy carrying Sweep. Back in those days the Tamiya Manta Ray was the dogs so she got one of those on her 3rd birthday. Within a month Dad had helped her upgrade the chassis to Top Force spec and within another month she had joined the local RC buggy club. Actually, l had to join because members had to be 18+. I had no alternative but to take her each week so to occupy myself l bought my own buggy and 12 months later was reaching A finals in Regionals and doing the National circuit with sponsorship in place. My daughter? She used to travel around the country with me and drive her car at the events during lunch breaks, usually with her Barbie doll strapped to the roof but her interests moved on to dolls before too long. Mine moved to IC saloons.
You know, you do all these things just for your kids, spend time and money on their whims with no pay back but you love them so you just have to do it, don't you? Yes, definitely pink.
You know, it was my son who forced me to take up tanks......

Strangely enough, she prefers blue....General Jumbo01 wrote:Got to be pink! What other colour would a 7yr old little girl want?? Search the Web for decal sets. Peppa Pig is still cool for up to 10yr olds.
