Re: 1/18 figures
Not really mate as Human are all different sizes so no one will notice unlike the vehicles.
I and many others use 1/18 with our 1/16 stuff

Re: 1/18 figures
from what I have seen there is alot of sifference in the size, the 1/16 figures stand at 120mm tall 1/18 figures are 102mm tall, a difference of 18mm, also take into account thatthis means head, hands ect are smaller so mixing 1/16th and 1/18th figures in close proximity I personally wouldnt do, but each to their own.

The 18mm differance means that the 1/16 guy is 6'6" the 1/18 guy is 5'7". In the photo below, the tank commander with his back to the camera has a 16th body Heng Long and his legs and bum are 1/18 21st Cent. I should call him stumpy but hay, not all of us are built the same

A good area for cheap 1/18 figures is the Indiana Jones ones I got a lot of German and Russian soldiers also a German truck and field car and a motorcycle if you have cheap £1 shops its even better
Re: 1/18 figures
Make them look young. Near the end of the war the Germans were using boys as young as 12.
The only problem with mixing scales is the equipment will be different sizes as well.
