What happened to https://www.modellspiegel.com/? Didn't they have gearboxes similar to the ETO ones? It seems that site isn't working anymore.

Maybe getting a King Tiger right, and a Tiger 1 left will work, and you can work out the offset post lengths from the right one for the left's modification.
Thanks that is a good idea but at least I know it can be "work around" !

I have been gathering parts to convert the static Porsche KT to powered and ended up getting the ETO Transmission for mine.

Barry, yeah checked that out too. The unfortunately part is that I got the static one for cheap (really cheap, $250 Cdn Dollars which is like $50 US or something like that :D ) so I am in a cheap frame of mine.

If I can get similar Tamiya ones to work it will be half the cost.

I’ve recently noticed that Tamiya gearboxes are not easy to find. For many of the Tamiya tanks, they have either discontinued both gearboxes or just one of the two. It makes absolutely no sense to me why they would just discontinue the Left box and still produce the Right box, for example.

I remember when Tamiya gearboxes would frequently appear on EBay for sale. Though, this memory is from a decade ago. Now there are none to be found on EBay.
