Correct you are. Will pass that along to the designer.

A few photos posted today on FB with news that the design will be finished soon & files ready once he finishes the build & makes a video. Was told he'll offer both Mark IV & V files in the release.

Gearbox is complete & much smoother than he anticipated.

Looks good. How do the gears fit so they can be replaced later on? Ie when a gear strips.

Dylan's reply on gear replacement:
To replace the gears all that needs to be done is remove the rear side panel and the axles will slide out and the gear will fall out
Update with electronics installed. Currently a WIP but I do like Dylan's thinking. 8)
I’m currently working on a code as a little bonus feature that will be included in the tank, I’m not sure if I’ll be able to get it to work though. I’m going to use an Arduino and the Arduino can control the main guns as sort of an automatic gun control so you don’t have to move them, but if you want to switch to manual control you can just flip a switch and control them yourself.

Clark board should work as well, but I’m going with a more simple approach. That red board in the back is the motor controller, it’s just a L298N driver which can control two motors at the same time. Then I’ll use the Arduino uno R3 which can be bought for about $15 for the individual gun movements, both elevation & traverse. The board will move the guns randomly to sort of make it more realistic. For sound I’ll probably use a topacc micro.
