It is far worse than the Nylon gearbox it is advertised as an upgrade to :thumbdown:
I've had the chally apart to install some weights, and the gearbox gears are made from a magnetic metal - I assume that'd make it steel and not pot metal.

before I mod the top to be detachable via magnets I may actually aquire one of Mr. Ludwig's chassis brace kit - the tub seems comparatively floppy without the top on.

The magnet test should be good indication of steel as the pot metal gears won't attract a magnet.
