Getting proper turret rotation speed.

Is there a way, not involving the TCB, to adjust the turret rotation speed? Not making it adjustable, but to set it to prototype speed. I want to give my M10 the proper, slow, hand-cranked rotation speed of about 80 seconds for a complete rotation. I don't battle, so I'm not worried about the disadvantage, I'm a scale modeler who likes play with my models.

Which electronics are you using?

With any programmable radio is as easy as limiting the channel signal, 5 seconds job. You can limit it to a 30% or so.

replace the existing motor (white covers) from the rotation unit with one with yellow covers from the BB shoot or recoil unit.
Alternatively, you can also use electric motors in the 130 size for 12 volts, they turn slower at 7.2 volts.

Servo recoil and elevation came stock, I may have some Taigen units in spares, but I'm pretty sure I sold them all a few years ago.

If the radio does not provide an adjustable end point to be set then you can always fit a strip of styrene across the 'stick' slot to reduce the throw or fit a resistor in the supply cable to the motor?

Here you go, an old thread on the subject, using a variable resister saves trial and error with various resistors. Although, once you have discovered the correct resistance needed, you could connect up a resistor, and move the variable one to the next tank.
