Don't be taken in! It must has taken him hours to tidy it up - l've seen pho to is of his models perched on mountains of tools and modelling rubbish!

Looks impressive though doesn't it. I'm green with envy

Ah ha! So all those neat boxes, organized tools, and spiffy black, covered tubs neatly marked for individual AFVs are just a layer of camouflage over piles and piles of debris, spilled paints, metal filings, and plastic curls with drill bits hidden inside.

How did you see my workplace? I don't recall posting a picture. I did clear up some of the metal turning scraps but only because l was too lazy to put shoes on and the blood does make the floor messy

I got the benches off of Craigslist. One of the local businesses here in Austin called TrackingPoint (sells rifle scopes) was replacing their benches. Got them for $50 each. I added the tool board. The cube shelves are just the same kinda thing Ikea sells only from Walmart so like half of what Ikea sells them for. Those spiffy boxes are for the tanks I've been taking with me out to the club field. That way I can chuck them in the back of my truck. Box has the radio for the tank and the tank itself sitting on foam. I figure if I can invest a lot of money in a tank I can invest a little bit making something safe for it to travel in...

Behind me is my 10" x 24" lathe and some of my hobby tools. I literally bought the lathe for tanking! Which is why it is in the house.



To my right, most of the tools and my German targets. Notice my economy sized can of body filler. Was going to get a quart @ $12 US but the gallon was $17. I've barely touched any of the Axis equipment other than some simple chassis stiffening. But they will have their day.



To my left (un-pictured) additional counter, a small vise and my view of the outdoors. Big tools are in the 45x45' shop just outside. And I have three acres out there too. For the record I managed to pick the whole lot up for about half the cost of a new American pick up. So no, not a rich guy, not like my brother.....

I've not been able to do modelling since August last year as I moved so all my stuff is in boxes in the new loft waiting for the new man cave to be built in the garden!
