Welcome !!

Post by chelseafc »

I'm Dave - I live in Stratford-Upon-Avon in the UK. I have 7 1:16 RC tanks - all German WW2. Happy to hear from other like-minded collectors. Would like to know how you can "weather" your tanks to look like they've been in a fight!!

Greetings Dave,

That is already quite the collection you have there! Do post pictures when you have a chance, we all love pictures here! :D You'll find plenty of resources here for weathering tips and ideas. How these guys pull off what they do, is a complete mystery to me! The guys are amazing and fully ready to share their expertise! Enjoy!

Cheers,
Eric.

Welcome aboard. Here’s a pic of my Initial Production Tiger showing some weathering and light small arms damage and scrapes.
Mostly just rode hard.

Hello from another colonial, frozen today, too. Just for kicks, I typed "weathering" in the search box at the top right of the RCTW page. Two-hundred and fifteen hits popped up. There are weathering wizards here, often using simple tricks with amazing results. Of course, practice, practice, practice seems also to be unavoidable and fun. Yes, indeed, do show off pictures, most especially as you try weathering. Welcome!

Welcome aboard. Jimster's Tiger just teleported into that spot as there are no tracks behind it in the snow... :)

Great video! Loved seeing the snow stick to the tracks.
