Not to my limited knowledge, I wish there was one.
I have 2 of the 1/16 Classic Hobby M5 Stuart Tanks with plans (no time soon) to use the chassis of one for a M4 High Speed Tractor.

Hi Barry, you probably mean the M5 tractor. The M4 does not use the Stuart chassis.BarryC wrote:I have 2 of the 1/16 Classic Hobby M5 Stuart Tanks with plans (no time soon) to use the chassis of one for a M4 High Speed Tractor.
It reminds me that Imai did an M5 in 1/24 scale, along with a Long Tom. Some releases have them combined. But these are collector items, selling in the hundreds.

The M4 Artillery Tractor uses the Stuart idler and tracks. It doesn't share the same sprocket or suspension parts.

Re: high speed artillery tractor.
Hello,
we have 2 artillery tractors in our club : M4 and M8A1. Both are completely scratch-built with no drawings and no 3D data. They are only referenced to 1/35 models.
As far as I know, there are no 1/16 kits at the market.

have a nice weekend

Re: high speed artillery tractor.
Thank you everyone
It does look like there is a gap in the market waiting to be filled and as most if not all of the running gear is available off the shelf and the vehicle structure is primarily a box It does not look overly challenging a build (Said a complete amateur

I think it is the closest out of the box for a scratch/kitbash build.tankme wrote:The M4 Artillery Tractor uses the Stuart idler and tracks. It doesn't share the same sprocket or suspension parts.

Although with the M5 Tractor a lot of the suspension is hidden behind that bar so it could hide some evils, but we all know you make sure the stuff behind the bar was highly detailed...BarryC wrote:I think it is the closest out of the box for a scratch/kitbash build.tankme wrote:The M4 Artillery Tractor uses the Stuart idler and tracks. Re: high speed artillery tractor.
I picked up a 1/35th Nitto M8A1 Tractor Cargo model pretty cheap as I was looking at doing a scratch build for it, but I don't recall any ready built artillery tractors except the 3D printed German RSO from Lukas at fertigungswerk16. He has said he's done, but seems to be taking orders still...
