Always enjoy your videos. True to life for the average modellers frustrations, of loosing parts, bits not fitting, dropping bits, simple jobs taking ages, funny, wether by design or not. Kept me entertained whilst in isolation. Thank you.

Damn !!...................Buffalo Wings and super bowl ! A great day for sure.
I've been over there during SB week and its maaaaaad !
Love the videos, I dont know how you can focus and talk at the same time
With the zimmerit, Ive only done 1 Atak set up on a Panther, and I found that using good scissors like you already have, and a new blade on a hobby knife to be what works for me.
The sanding to key the surface of the resin ready for glue I did after trimming with a gentle use of a small section of 260 grit sandpaper.
For adhesive I used a 2-part 5 minute epoxy product that is recommended by Atak, brands and names are missleading.
Down here, no more nails is a weird construction/house building adhesive used for Gyproc/Gib board/plasterboard material that Im not brave enough to try on an expensive tank
Great show you put on & Im really missing the proper hot wings that are the thing up there
Wings-To-Go Garlic Butter in Enid,Oklahoma were my hell-yeah get me there thing each time , I can still feel the butter running down my arms & dripping off my elbows
Keep the vids & pics coming.

I am glad my videos entertain you, I film everything in single takes with no editing so what you see is what you get, including my screw upsMeter rat wrote:Always enjoy your videos. Herman, I went looking for the post where someone told me to use "no more nails" and for the life of me can't find it, but once it set it was very secure, the bonus is it has a very long working time. Also very glad you like the videos, I talk while doing just about everything, I never ever stop talking, i just keep talking even if theres no need to keep talking, my excessive talking even annoys some people...LOLHERMAN BIX wrote:Damn !!...................Buffalo Wings and super bowl ! One of the secrets to good hot wings is to get the smallest sized chicken wing sections you can find, pat them dry, add a generous amount of salt and if air frying do 25 minutes at 350 moving them around a few times, then a finishing 10 minutes at 400, have your preferred sauce ready (50/50 Frank's redhot and melted butter, of your afore mentioned garlic butter) put the wings once cooked in a bowl that has a sealing lid and add a couple tablespoons of sauce, close lid and shake (increase or reduce sauce to the "wetness" you like, then either BleuCheese or Ranch dressing on the side.

Part 3 is up!!
I am reaching out for some help with the turret.

Re: Full Option Porsche Turret King Tiger build
The problem that you have is that the gun mantle needs to be made removable as the front part of the turret is part of the upper turret and the gun fixes to the lower part of the turret so if you glue the mantle in place your not going to be able to separate the lower and upper turret.
it might be possible if parts f5/8 fit the porsche turret to cut the fat bit off the front fit a sleeve that glues into the gun mantle over the round bit inside slide it over parts f5/8 drill a hole in the bottom of the turret and attach the other end with a grub screw accessible by the drilled hole so it can be made removable that way. Also check the range of movement for f7 before cutting things to pieces.
As for parts g2/3 is it not possible to drill them out carefully so they slide over the barrel?

Hi John,
based on some other builds I saw I have ordered the early style one piece barrel and mantlet insert from Schumo-kits and reached out to Daryl Turner here in the states for some of his machine aluminum magic tricks.

I ordered the early barrel and insert from Axle's and they look great, should solve the recoil issue. I would be very interested in what you hear from Daryl Turner.
