Re: Tamiya king tiger
You scored a Tamiya Pzkw. VI B. Nice!
I am more familiar with the Taigen versions, not so much Tamiya's top-of-the-line stuff (although I do have an old Tamiya 1/16 static kit). In my 'umble opinion, the color is at best a part of the three-color camouflage scheme with a Dunkelgelb (Dark Yellow) base: https://agtom.eu/en/content/25-pojazdy- ... ie-z-ii-ws. (It's in English.) Yours appears to be unpainted, so you have a great opportunity to make it your own.

Re: Tamiya king tiger
Thanks
Overall in great condition, inside and out I think I will keep it as it is.

Those sure are clean-looking innards.! I have never seen one of the Tamiyas run with the single motor and drive. I would find it interesting. Have fun!
