Why not break down the model and not print the barrels, but replace with metal tubing?jee wrote:So, still busy to get acquainted with my printer, but so far so good.
I found a very detailed nebelwerfer in 1/56 which I upscaled to 1/16.
I used supports, which I probably shouldnt have done
Now a lot of cleaning up to do.
maybe I will print it once more, but t takes 16 hours, so for now it is ok.
Thanks, yes using metal tubes for barrels is an option, although printing the barrels is actually not the problem. It is the lines running outside of the barrels that give the most problems, they are thin, so replacing these with some brasstube would be a good option I think.WCP RC MODELS wrote:Why not break down the model and not print the barrels, but replace with metal tubing?jee wrote:So, still busy to get acquainted with my printer, but so far so good.

As for supports, you just need to play around and get used to where and when
