paint thinners
Re: paint thinners
Get a piece of scrap plastic/ cardboard / wallpaper and practice, practice, practice. Spray the design you are planning on using this way. then when your happy, take it to the tank/model. Make sure your AB is cleaned correctly afterwards. As Sax said, check out the painting/weathering boards, there is plenty advice tips on painting there.

Re: paint thinners
Brush painting camo is all I have done so far but I like doing it
Re: paint thinners
Nothing wrong with brush painting,I have a lot of ship models with exception of the hulls everthing is hand or brush painted, that's how it was done on weather deck and above. Now tanks got it both ways so for me their is no wrong way.Just post some pictures so others may benifit from your technique.Sax

I might be wrong, but I think the application of camo could have been done by any of those methods. At the end of the day, you should use the method that you like and suits you best. If you think brush painting looks more authentic, go for it ! ;Draven wrote: i was thinking camos were not sprayed on but brushed or with some rags would it be more authentic to do it with a brush

Post some pics, then we will be able to compare brush painting to air brushing. I have seen some really good brush painted models.
Cheers
