I update the thread with new progress.
Lower front, right hull side and rear plate glued togheter. I also added a reinforcement at each corner:
And this is how the right motor would look like:
And as you can see I have very little space from side to side of the hull to place both engines, so much so that after much measuring and checking they will fit with just a couple of millimeters of separation in its closest part (marked in yellow in the next photo). If you look closely I had to bend out the motor terminals so that they do not "bother" the other motor:

I could have reduced the distance between the motor and the inner face of the hull but that would have led to the shaft sticking out more than it should, messing up the whole wheel distribution and the idler. Remember that the running gear is based on the Heng Long Panther and the distance that the shaft protrude is the same as that model, 27 millimeters (outside of the hull - end of the axle).
