Everybody has problems in every forum till people get to know you and you them so sometimes its best to keep yer gob shut (for internatonal members it's Lancashire it means keep quite)

Where I live now, it's "Zut Kneese!". Where I am from there's two ways. Southern Cultured: "Y'all may just want to be just a little more quiet now, y'here?" Other way is "You'uns wanna put some tooths in thet thar pie hole a'fores I'se gits my shootin' iron.."

Hey OZ if your from Geordie land on phrase I always wanted to know "Lang may your lum reeks" I would love to know hat it means been puzzling me for 30 years  Andy

it could mean several things it depends on how you say it, it could mean long life or live well or all the best............cheers oz

yep it is used up north as well as down here, long may your chimney smoke means live a long good life..............oz
