It's hard to see in the pic, and the seller hasn't answered a question I asked, but does anyone have this light? I'm guessing the black strip may be LED or someother type of light but it's hard to tell. It's also hard to see if it is the appropriate light for a late model Tiger and what it looks like assembled. I tried finding a web site for Imperial of Germany but no luck there either.

Re: Has Anyone Used This Convoy Light?
Hi,
Here's Imperial's web site:
http://www.imperial-modellbau.de/
Had a look at their site (which is awful to use) and can't find the light. They have LED ones, but they are €16 or so and only do red or green. So I doubt at the price for this one on Ebay that it is functional.

It looks more like the early style convoy light. Three castings for the light and a bit of wire to simulate.... wire!

Re: Has Anyone Used This Convoy Light?
Unfortunately you guys are right. Thanks for the link Nigel, I found it on the site and it shows one installed when you try to zoom on the picture. The red and green type they have weren't use on the Tiger from what I've seen. I guess I could give a try at making one like Andy did. The PE one from Wecohe is nice but more than I care to spend right now for a tail light ($29.30 US).

Hi Ern,
How are you . Ive made my own late war working rear convoy light using fibre optics . Not my idea had plenty of help and advice of here . I just made a brass holder , used fibre optic cables X4 , a blue LED and a paint brush tip protector for the lens .See my late Tiger build in the HL build section.
All the best Andy
