Howes bargain bucket

Post by vonrundstedt »

I went to Howes models on friday to grab me a bulldog, S&S, £59.99. To make me fell better about missing out on cobbaton) . After my purchase i wondered around thier alladins cave of a shop. I came to a stair well, above the door was a sign reading "BARGAINS". I went up, and to my suprise, a whole wall full of heng long Pershings, bulldogs, tigers and panthers, nearly all with metal tracks and gears. Prices ranged from £30 - £75 and the faults ranged from 'hand set not working, no charger' to 'broken gun muzzle'. On the floor were box's upon box's of lower hulls, turrets and all sorts of bits, though im not sure if these bits were for sale or not. So, if you're in the kidlington area and fancey a realy good deal, then go and have a look.

Regards, luke ( a very satisfied cosumer) ;D

Lucky you  :D - we really dont have that kind of hobby shops here in Denmark, so I really miss to get into a real shop and look around for tanks and related stuff.

Thats also the main reason for my to visit the german rc panzer exhibition in Munster Panzer Museum every spring, because they sell a lot of their stuff through out the exhibition

cheers
