Panzer III for drive by shooting?

Post by Son of a gun-ner »

Saw this on Friday, not sure if it has been mentioned before, but it would appear this Panzer III has a fixed MG at the side. I wouldn't know if it had one on the opposite side as this particular tank had sections but out so that visitors could view the inside.
The two pictures at the bottom are from the same tank, I thought I'd take the opportunity to clarify the diamond patterned tread plate size on this particular machine.

And I see they managed to remove one of the plastic return roller mounts for replacement by a Taigen metal one but DIDNT leave a gaping wound in the hull side caused by the notorious HL glue monkey !!
