I noticed the smoke machine has a disconnected wire. Is this a solder fix? I'm not too confident with a soldering iron since melting a bit of scalextric track into oblivion lol

Are the hatches in this link the best ones to make an opening hatch to relocate the on/off switch? https://www.zandatoys.com/1-16-torro-ki ... overs-set/

I was thinking of doing it under the rear hatch as it's the closest to the standard on/off location.

As I spend more time looking and planning this tank there is more and more I want to change!

:D yes it is exactly what is needed for this type of tank, moreover it is the only model (metal) existing, to my knowledge

I've used Superglue IE: CA glue, but that is brittle. CA will work on smaller pieces pretty OK, now typically find a glue that is a little more rubbery so that large grills don't detach if the deck flexes. I affixed my ZTZ grills with some kind of contact cement that I had left over from repairing the foam surrounds my (very old) Cerwin Vega 12" speaker cones.

Dry fit of some metal parts.
Will use some milliput to secure the new front light.
Removed the Heng long aerial mount and will use one of the metal disks to finish the area.
Mounted two Jerry cans to the rear turret as I found a picture of a KT that had some spare fuel/water mounted this way.

I probably won't use the metal vision slots or the other metal hatches as I don't see the point.

I still want to get the opening hatch set so that I can relocate the on/off switch

Any other suggestions? ImageImageImage

Hello :D

For info, different type and color WWII Jerrycan, depending on its content
https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerrican
https://www.passionmilitaria.com/t33491 ... ffkanister,
if not, well done for your superb job, just a remark, the lifting hooks of the engine hatch assembly are in the wrong direction, manufacturer error?

Is the Jerrycan correct in its appearance though?

Engine hatch? Attached is a picture of the real thing I took yesterday. Looks ok to me unless I'm missing something?Image
