I’ve been driving the living dog snot out of my Tiger’s Heng Long dual current CNC gearbox for quite a while over rough terrain, water crossings, steeeep ramps, gravel, tall thick grass and concrete ledges and it seems as strong as as the day I installed it. Why do I report this? Because my DKLM version took a big crap with less miles on it. So if anyone was wondering if the Heng Long version is worth it, I say hell yes! Forgebear sold this to me and I HIGHLY recommend this gear box without reservations. Tough as nails.
Now back to our regularly scheduled program. (American joke)
Update/ Heng Long Dual Current CNC Gearbox
Re: Update/ Heng Long Dual Current CNC Gearbox
Good to know. I picked up a DKLM version for $140, but haven't played with it yet. I may put it in my T-72B1 build. I'm still a fan of the Heng Long CNC sealed dual gearboxes. They are a b*tch to mount in some tanks, but they seem very solid for less money than the "dual current" ones from HL.
