Thats cool. Thanks again mate.
Now we just need to get the tanks organised. The more we buy the cheaper they are.
Just rememer to take a picture of that many Tamiya's all together, its not a sight most of us will ever see, lol.
Cheers,
Rik

Re: A Container full of tanks
I wonder what the total time will be to build all of these kits? ::)
Someone mentioned tx's and battle units. Those are going to be essentials for some without 4 ch tx's. The battle units are hard to get in the uk at the best of times, and I know they are a lot cheaper when bought from over there.

Re: A Container full of tanks
This is definitely something to look at Rob. We'll need a big supply of decent capacity batteries, and at least 4ch radios, preferably 2.4Ghz ones so when we all get together we dont conflict on channels. I'm after a 7ch one at the moment. The battle units would be good too. I think we should focus on the tanks first, and once that sorted, hopefully we can order more stuff.
The build time on these thins depends how in depth you want to go. I think you could throw most Tamiya's together out of the box in 2-3 days at most. Its the detailing and upgrades that take time. My Panther will end up even more detailed than my Tiger! lol.

Rik

spectrum 5channel 2.4ghz are going for 99.00us I just bought one for the 1/6 scale TIGER,Let me say this all the issue of electronics are being looked into also, that is why we have a vendor willing to do this. And I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND THE rip-off the Britt's thing.Prices in America are alot lower. This will be the last post by me on this subject, very soon it will be handed over to someone you all know and respect. Then I will be what I stated earlier, just a guy buying a tank. This will work because of one thing that is thankfully missing(greed). Our strength is in our common interest, and the hope that this forum will have the largest single TAMIYA TANK RALLY on the planet. 1-Saxondog
