Welcome to the Forum
we love lurkers
While you watch do remember the minute you open your pocketbook for your first (BUT not your last) 1/16 r/c Tank the door to Hades opens and all is up with you

Tubby when you press submit it is always worth waiting a moment because sometimes there is a delay in your Msg loading

Welcome, I am new myself but it seems it can be a bit addictive (according to my wife, I have no problems with it)

Appreciate the kind welcoming!
Ordered myself a Taigen Panther F, i've always had a (maybe unhealthy) fascination with this tank. I plan on stripping it down and building a early '46 "what if" tank.

Re: Hi from Ontario, Canada!
The French were contracted to build the Panther during the German occupation of France and at Wars end new French build Panther's were used to equip the re-formed French armoured regiments so it does not have to be a what if,
You could just give it early post WW2 French markings
The German Panther factory was overrun by the British Army and as the place was relatively undamaged the British Officer in command to give the workforce something to do ordered them to complete the Tanks still on the line and a number of these brand new Panthers were sent to the UK.

Re: Hi from Ontario, Canada!
Welcome. There may have been a number of F type made but images of the real thing are few and far between. There were rumours of one appearing in the defence of Berlin but no photos. Its still a nice model and it didnt stop me buying one. Enjoy!
