Pretty pictures but more interested in seeing a close up of his idler adjustment. Hope its more substantial than what Feng did with the larger Hetzer. :haha:

On the surface, it looks highly desirable. 8O :D
I see this example is equipped with IR, but I presume Hooben wouldn't be offering the Cromwell with an Airsoft/IR option- as per HL TK 6.0 series tanks?
As alluring as the photos are, the Hooben name is not generally associated with speedy delivery, I believe, nor even with delivery at all. :problem: I could be wrong, of course. I'd certainly be interested in buying one if I could be assured of getting one (preferably in one piece, and fully functional...)

If any indication of them shipping my Hooben ZTZ-99A, they are getting better with shipping. It only took a month, but they are not getting any better with tracking info. The electronics in my ZTZ-99A look very similar to Taigen v1 electronics and due to the way they are doing elevation/recoil there will not be any airsoft. Hooben doesn't have airsoft in any of their tanks as far as I know.

Hooben's electronics are proprietary; forget the original source but certainly not a Taigan clone. Feng initially worked with Clark but then went his own way. As you know, sound effects & output are crap & limited to what he's been using. IR only & works only with other Hooben tanks so best to gut the board & radio with one of your own.

Jerry C. asked Feng recently on Hooben's FB group if he'd be willing to sell less electronics. So far, no reply though I have been told in the past I can custom order with a Clark board at additional cost.

At least you got an unconditional reply. Me, I asked the same last year & was just told Clark was an option. Still need to bin that toy radio & speaker.

Still waiting to see those photos of his idler adjuster...

BTW, on another tangent.. I was chatting with Attracks recently to gauge his interest in developing metal track / sprockets for some of Hooben's offering given we know you'll never see anything in upgrades from Hooben. He's interested so feel free to lobby him. He's got a lot in the fire now so don't expect anytime soon but its always good to have another source for track on the market.

Well Worth The Wait

Post by Xiaoshan_Sailor »

Just had a rather long chat with Tomas & am now more excited than ever upon hearing details of his development path & who he's been working with. Given his quality & detail level plans, his model will be the gold standard.

I'll let him offer more details on his own post but it will well worth waiting a tad longer.

You should open separate topic for 3D printed Cromwell to to avoid confusion...
