Verio 1/6 scale Tiger VI

Post by Saxondog »

Has anyone purchased anything from the H/K based company VERIO BIG TANK? Or maybe watched their video of some guy riding their lower hull while pulling a 4-ton truck across a concrete shop floor, maybe ten feet. They claim to make the best TANKS ON THE PLANET.Well being a consumer I have searched the world to find the parts I need to repair my 1/6 scale Tiger VI tank which was damaged in shipping. They asked for pictures,I sent them pictures and received this reply, your tank looks like a toy,but we will sell you the parts. Are tanks are hand made for many metals and are the better than US/UK/German metal tanks. So do I buy my parts from them or MARK.  MARK1 was sent the same email and I received this answer,we can supply you all the listed parts, and will help you with any other needs, followed by a list of the parts and shipping cost, and their parts cost less. And a thank-you So who do I buy from?

Verio is definitely not a good idea mate, they're "famous" for poor quality electronics and motors.  99.9% of their tanks break down after 2 metres of driving, YES. 2 metres, not kilometres!!

Thanks guy's Verio has sent me 4-emails today claiming they have this special gearbox, motor,on and on and on.I will go with MARK,he has been very helpful, has the parts I need at the best price, and he does not make all these wild claims.Mark seems to be very smart, understands my needs, and understands my tank may not be the same quality as his product but it"s mine and I want to build on this chassis,so it is dependable and strong.I will also tell you guy"s that I told victor@verio that we could chain our tank's together and who ever pulls the other tank 25feet owns both. After 4-emails they did not accept my offer. Thanks again for your feedback.Sax

They have declined my offer, and babbled some more crap about their CNC machined parts are to heavy duty and will break my tank, don't know what these guy's think,CNC machined aluminum is perfect,It's like when we all upgrade to metal tracks, drive and idler sprockets the tanks are stronger.I can't figure these guy's out.I now have 5=emails replying to my one babbling on about my tank and other tanks are TOY'S and their last 20/30 years, all I wanted to know was could they supply me with track and sprockets, that's all.So they ask for a picture of my tank and start this babble about how great their tanks are. When I get thru my tank will have all the power that a 200lb.TANK NEEDS and MARK1 has the perfect drive set,and tracks, sprockets, for a reasonable price. And I believe Marks email, simple customer service WE WILL HELP YOU ANY WAY WE CAN.THAT SAY'S IT ALL.I am lucky that these guy's are so full of it or I mite of made a purchase.

You want to know something, when I was 20 I purchased a TOY,a 1984Kawasaki GPZ750 turbo, with DFI.That machine has been my toy all these years.Boy's like their toys but for someone else to call any of my toys a toy in an insult which is what they did,and meant to do.Then today two more emails about a customer that broke the geardrive of their tank and how happy he was to get a new gearbox at no cost. Then they asked me if I wanted to see his video, and when I said yes they could not produce the video.Something is not right in HONG KONG. On another subject,my damaged 1/6 SCALE(TOY)TIGER VI will have to be repaired at my cost,no sending it back,no refund,no replacement parts,if UPS pays on the claim the want their property. So I would end up with 380.00 and the turret which was in another box. This is a learning moment for me,and it is a lesson I will not forget.SAX
