Looking good Bubba. But I think mcevoyi is building a "Dicker Max". It's a sort of Stug IV but has a taller superstructure. So he should be ok with the recoil mechanism.

its a open gun compartment  ... sort of .... i am trying to work out if i could have a recoil .... elevation and traverse .. and there not a lot of room ...

maybe i should just go with 1/6th hay ! lol

but i am cheating ... did a model shop yesterday and got the trumpeter and the dragon dicker max for reference ... and there both quite different !

and just for good measure got the  sturm emel too ...

you can use a tamiya recoil cable conected to the gun and elevation is not a problem using the stug style elevation motor as that is what i used in my hummel
