Heng Long Tiger 1 not working.

Hi, I got a tiger 1 this Christmas and took it to my local beach today and it’s now stopped working. I only just realised that sand is bad for tanks, but the sand isn’t loose at my beach. Anyway the problem started with a noise that sounded like the smoke unit but it wasn’t on, and the machine gun LED not turning off. The tank still worked and even worked later on after I got home. However I’ve just recharged the battery and now the controller doesn’t connect first time, and if it does connect nothing moves and I can’t turn on the sound or smoke.

Please leave suggestions because I’m really upset with myself and I need to get this fixed.

First you should let us know a little bit about your rc model background and tell us a bit about yourself. Just an informal friendly introduction and of course this is asked of every new member as it helps us answer your questions with more useful advice and vendor recommendation if needed.
Then I would open your tank and check for sand grains and salt water moisture anywhere. Check your tracks and sprockets for sand grains or any other foreign matter. Check your connectors and solder joints. Check battery health on tank and transmitter. Good luck and don’t forget to introduction yourself.
