Re: RC control for Tami Pershing
Hi Silver Surfer
I see you have Torro M16, I have been trying to find one of these to buy, it seems because of Covid, very few products are coming out of China. You can’t seem to find many products available. Do you have any idea where to look for one. I would really rather have new.

If you get in touch with forgebear (Dave) in the vendor section he may be able to source a torro m16 for you

When I bought mine in 2018 it was being marketed under the WSN brand name. You might want to do a search for WSN 1/16 M16. The seller actually had mine listed as a Trumpeter M16 as WSN is the R/C versions of Trumpeter kits. As some may remember when the T-34/85 hit the market it was a WSN. Heng Long released their T-34/85 years later.

If I recall correctly, it came from Torro-shop.de. I had a look and they are not even listing it. My guess is that it is out of production, though I have no evidence.Winalot wrote:Hi Silver Surfer

As other have said switches are the best option , easy to wire in . Hardest part is deciding where to drill the holes for the switches . Tamiya KT

Hi
I’ve now bought a new specific transmitter, Futaba 6 L, and can get main gun to fire by pushing both trim and barrel elevator together, but MG won’t go, the opposite direction, well it did once, can’t do it again.
So that should be trim down and barrel depressed?
What am I doing wrong. Many of you have suggested hard wiring the trim, no prob doing that but is it just the 1 trim to fit on off on. And do I still need to stick up and down if hard wired. Someone posted a video and it doesn’t look like it, but I can’t see his hands
I know I’m being Dimm but I’m very new to this

I use the same transmitter (Radiomaster TX16s) for all my models, Tamiya, Taigen ,Henglong etc.......
All controls on the transmitter are in the same location for all models, I have a motor kill switch programmed on the transmitter, the same switch is used for all models.
Cheers Martin

Hello Winelot, please look into the download section of this board: PDF describing setup based on a Taranis Radio and receiver. It has a few general pages that maybe give you an answer to your question.
