Hooben Maus

Post by Jarlath »

No, I'm not asking about if they are any good. It's a Hooben. Enough Said.

Has anyone here actually received one? Was it a kit or per-assembled?

I ask as I want to know if they ever had extra track links with them. (3D printing Maus track links is a PITA....)
I asked Hooben once and they wanted $200USD for a set of tracks by themselves...

Hmmm... I kinda want those spare links to investigate if I want to use them in my homemade version, but I think they take creative liberties with them (aka sprocket teeth numbers and such).

Here are some images plus some of the real vehicle
They are made of a tough nylon and are in no way worth 200 lol
Also the Maus came Pre-built but i think it can be bought as parts

Yea. I thought that too until I talked to them... and I was like "Are you effing kidding me?"

They look OK... But yeah lots of liberties.... I mean I took a couple but damned the difference...

Classic H :haha: :haha: ben pricing structure. Cover your monthly rent with just one sale. You know, like they do at Tiffany's!

I've known their owner, Feng, since 2004 & he'll never change.
