INTERCHANGEABILITY

Post by SCHWEREPANZER »

Did I spell that right?

So, without getting too deeply involved in the job of actually dismantling the running gear of two perfectly good tanks, and the attendant headache of reassembling them if the project turns a cropper, my question is: Can the Heng Long Panther road wheel be changed on a 1:1 basis for the Taigen Panther road wheel. It's that extra molded raised rib on the Heng Long that offends the sensitivities. In defense of my anal OCD problem, I know I'm not the only one who's offended by that rib. :haha:

Thanks chaps

I think you'd have to change the arms as well?

Thanks all. There seems to be unanimity that further tinkering with the swing arms is necessary. Darn!

Thanks again all. Found the necessary swing arms in my Teilebehälter. Problem sorted. Next comes execution.

:) I just dumped the whole HL plastic hull, and replaced it with the alloy/ABS unit (with full rolling gear) from Taigen, courtesy of Forgebear. It was a decent price too... ;)
Good luck anyway.
