Hello Will,
I didn't build the model - and I definitely don't want to get the applause for the excellent work - I bought it because I appreciate it.
The tracks are from Asiatam and everything else is made by hand.
I only installed a sound module from Benedini and added a few small details.

More Kubelwagens in build haha :)
I love these little things, its nice to watch Catherine get these printed, stripped and cleaned ready for assembly. Believe it or not it is quite relaxing getting these little beauties built up........... at least until you get to the suspension stage haha!

Excuse the mess in the background, here is the next one coming together and checking how the parts fit the model. Anything that doesn't make the cut hits the scrap pile. There are many small parts and details on these little things.

Well I have finally took the plunge and bought a 3D printer.

It’s nothing special just a reconditioned low end printer, but it is one of the larger 300/350mm ones

Though I have a few designs ready to go for sherman tanks I worked on them in partnership with a non member so in order to stick with in the rules only the very few seen on my Sherman build have been shown.

As I’m new to printing, when it arrives and my designs would be quite complex to use in a printer set up, can anyone suggest something to print for set up purposes.

My immediate thoughts would be ammo crates or fuel cans/ flimsy cans but would they be too basic?

Hi, go to http://www.thingiverse.com and search for printer test, there are various ones there. They will enable you to check that all axes are correctly set up.

Have fun!
