Need some help!

Post by Bludmon »

Hello from the USA!

I am new to the site, and could use some help!

I was not able to find the answers to my specific questions.

I am working on film project that will be utilizing RC 1/16 US Armor, i.e. M1 Abrams, M113, M2 Bradley, and 5 ton trucks. I am currently looking for RC 1/16 M113A2/A3, M2 Bradley and US M939 5 ton trucks. I will also be utilizing RC 1/16 MRAPS, Trumpeter Kits converted to RC.( Doing research on that now).

I am not in a position to fabricate the M113 or Bradley'. I am on a limited budget for this project, and need to know what these vehicles would run me to have built?

I am aware the OKOM Products company in Hong Kong. And have emailed Carson directly a few weeks ago, and have not got a response back yet. I am sure due to the current situation there may be the reason.

I would appreciate any assistance in this matter.

Thank you

Good morning I would recommend contracting a local club as not everyone is always on Facebook/warfare pages. There is a club in AZ and a few out in California who may have what your looking for. This link should help with some contacts and names of clubs. Hope this helps.

Torro now has the R/C MRAPs, but they are fragile. One of mine came DOA, but Torro did send a replacement. If you buy them, don't run them off the AA batteries. Spend the extra and get the 9.6V optional batteries as the AAs will drain before your eyes. Someplace like East Coast Armory will do commision builds for your M113 and Bradley, but they wouldn't be cheap. I would've posted their website, but it seems they have a DNS redirect hack right now. The only Bradley I know of is the OKMO version which has not been released for general sales. I know they have a some out there, but they have never listed them for sale on their website.
