T-34E Spaced Armour. Was this an actual version?

Interesting, I've never seen those pics before. The side skirts really change the look of the T-34. IMHO it really gives the "ugly duckling" T-34 much cleaner and attractive lines. Sort of reminds me of the Crusader?!
